Windows Azure Web Sites Demo Series

In a series of very short videos I will demonstrate many options how you can publish and manage web applications in the Cloud using Windows Azure Web Sites.

I will use WebDeploy, a local Git repository, GitHub, Team Foundation Service and Team City as different publication methods. Some of the demos simply show that you can quickly publish a Web Site when you are, for instance, working on it and want to share it with someone else for test – the dev/test scenario. Other demos take a few minutes to run through before the Web Site lands in Window Azure. They are not as fast but in return also run builds and Unit Tests before deploying the site. They will also offer you a really great version history support in Windows Azure so that you can if you want roll back to a previous version of your Web Site should you need to. I also have a few demos on features of Windows Azure Web Sites such as version history support and configuration management.

All my demos are available on in my YouTube Windows Azure playlist:

Hope these short videos are of use to you when learning about Windows Azure!
